About Us
Who We Are...
We’re Ifechukwude (Ife) and Dr. Damilola (Dami) Adingupu, and we’ve been journeying together for over 23 years and married for more than 14 of those. Our shared passion for building strong, healthy relationships led us to create Thriving Relationships Now Coaching.
We’re both certified marriage mentors, pre-marital and marriage coaches, and SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts) facilitators. As trainee counselling psychologists, we continually learn and grow in our ability to support couples, families, and individuals in meaningful, research-informed ways.
I (Ife) am a natural mentor who loves connecting with people through real stories and experiences that inspire growth and hope.
And I (Dami) bring over 13 years of experience in research and evidence-based practice, which helps us integrate practical, proven insights into our coaching approach.
Together, we combine empathy, authenticity, and proven strategies to help individuals, couples and families grow stronger, communicate better, and truly thrive, not just survive.
Alongside our coaching practice, we also lead The Family Advocates Canada, a non-profit organization committed to strengthening families and communities across Canada.
Our heart is to walk alongside you as you build relationships rooted in love, understanding, and purpose.

Land Acknowledgement
In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis, and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. We acknowledge all Nations – Indigenous and non – who live, work and play on this land, and who honour and celebrate this territory. Finally, we remain committed to continue to learn about the truth regarding Colonialism and residential schools in Canada, and will actively work towards reconciliation while advocating for our government to do so as well.
